Practice Summary Dashboard

From the Practice Summary Dashboard, you can view a snapshot of your activity in LumaTax across all clients. This is also considered the home page of LumaTax. 

Nexus Analysis: The total number of Nexus Analysis Reports generated by your firm. To view a report, first open a client profile using the Search for Client dropdown in the upper left. 

Registrations: The total number of state registrations completed using LumaTax. To view or begin registrations, open a client profile using the Search for Client dropdown in the upper left.  

Recent Activity: Displays recent actions performed in Lumatax, including the user and date of activity. Click View All to see the complete activity log. 

Client List: Displays a detailed list of all clients added in Lumatax, along with the workflow status of each client. Use the filters and sorting to easily review all your clients in one place. Click Add Client to add additional clients to LumaTax. 

Filters: 

Search:
Type to search and filter by the Client Name field.  
LumaTax Compliance Score:
Filter to view clients with high exposure, possible exposure, highly compliant, or all clients. 

Columns: 

Client Name:
Name of Client in LumaTax Profile
LumaTax Compliance Score: Current LumaTax Compliance Score. "Estimated" is indicated when a survey/ profile is complete, but transaction data has not been uploaded yet. 
Client Profile: Checked if client's nexus profile is completed
Data + Report: Checked if client's data has been uploaded and a nexus report has been run. 
Client Connect: Displays the date the client joined LumaTax or a button to invite the client. 
... : Option to Select client, Invite to Client Connect, Archive. 


Client Dashboard

The Client Dashboard displays the details of an individual client in LumaTax. 

Client Data: The hub for uploading historical transaction data and managing files in LumaTax. Click View Files to review a transaction summary, map files, and download data. If a client uploads a file via Client Connect, this card will show that attention is required.

Nexus Analysis: This is where you can create a state-by-state report.  Run a new Nexus Analysis Report and download the most recent past reports. Click View History to view all and download any past pdfs. 

Registrations: The hub for performing single or multi-state registrations in LumaTax. After completing a client profile, you can begin a new order. Displays states and order dates for each order. Click Registration History to view order history. 

Overview: Displays a color-coded map of the United States for at-a-glance review. After the profile is complete, the map displays states where client is collecting sales tax (green), has exposure (red), and needs monitoring (yellow). When the registration tool is in use, states with registration in-progress will also display (blue). This map will update as additional data is added to LumaTax and reports are updated. Click View Report to run a Nexus Analysis Report. 

Client Connect: Invite clients to join LumaTax to complete the nexus survey, securely upload transaction data, and share documents. After you invite a client, their status and date joined will display. Click Documents to review shared data files. 

Activity: Displays recent actions performed in Lumatax, including the user and date of activity. Click View All to see the complete activity log. 


Profile Menu (Hi, [Name]) 

Profile: Manage  your firm's company information, upload logo, and manage your individual user profile information. 

Users: Add or manage your firm's team users in LumaTax.  

Billing: Update payment method, review subscription plan details, and view past subscription invoices.
